At Douglass Charles III, we are a team of aviation enthusiasts who share a passion for all things aircraft-related. Our journey began over a decade ago, when our founder started offering maintenance and repair services out of his garage. Today, we have grown into a full-service aircraft company with a team of experts and a loyal customer base.

What we are:
Douglas DC-3A, Serial #4128 Manufacturer Date: July 14, 1941
Mission:
Douglas Charles the third mission is preserving the legacy of the DC three. The goal is the continued maintenance and operation of N137PB as a tribute to the airline that made passenger air travel of viable form of public transportation and to honor the airline employees, and all those in the airline industry past present who have made air travel the safest form of transportation in the world. DC three seeks to share with young and old early airline travel, and the important part that the Douglass DC three played during the developing years.
Operations:
To accomplish this mission DC three will participate in introduction flights, local sightseeing rides, travel to airshows and special events for static displays, flybys, etc. Possible instructions and type ratings insurance cost permitting as well as offering sponsorships to those who may wish to preserve and N137PB
Regulations: FAR space part 91 no public (A to B) transportation will be offered
Insurance:
Assure insurance works with all the major aviation insurance markets we provide you the insurance at the lowest cost and Broadus coverage available. We are pleased to provide the attached quotations: $100,000 Hall pleasure use $8675 100,000 hall to include sightseeing $13,675 liability only pleasure use $6250 liability only to include sightseeing $12,500. Maintenance:
most maintenance will be handled by local volunteers most of whom have experience on DC threes many worked on this specific aircraft with PBA. There is certain procedures that may require assistance from an FAA repair station, including avionics installation and repair wing poles, engine and component overall and painting, consumables such as tires and brakes are still available for the DC three the plan is to purchase two engine course to have Freddie for overall funds permitting,
